I have spent my career serving people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives; walking families through crises, collaborating with community providers, law enforcement officers, and helping individuals rebuild their lives. That work is my calling, and it has given me a firsthand understanding of both the strengths and the shortcomings of our public systems.
I am running because I believe Delaware can do better for the people who need our systems most and I believe my experience can help make that happen.
Our state government works best when there is balance, when ideas are debated openly, decisions are made thoughtfully, and every voice has a seat at the table. Healthy government requires accountability, transparency, and willingness to work across differences to find practical solutions. Delaware deserves leaders who are guided by facts, focused on results, and committed to serving the people rather than partisan agendas.

I believe in offering a hand up, not just a handout. Assistance has an important place, but lasting success comes from equipping people with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to become independent and thrive. Government should empower people, not create long-term dependency, and opportunities that strengthen families and communities.
Real change comes through education, opportunity, personal responsibility, and strong leadership. When we invest in people, we create a ripple effect that reaches families, neighborhoods, and future generations. A stronger Delaware begins with citizens who have the tools to succeed and government that supports those efforts responsibly and effectively.

Many of Delaware's public health and public safety laws have served our state well, but they must be continually modernized to reflect current needs. Our communities have changed, our understanding of mental health and substance use has advanced, and our emergency response and healthcare systems continue to evolve. Laws governing mental health services, substance use treatment, emergency services, public health, food and drug regulations, and services for individuals with disabilities deserve thoughtful review and ongoing modernization to ensure they are effective, accountable, and responsive to the people they serve.
Updating our laws does not mean abandoning proven principles. It means ensuring our statutes reflect today's realities while preserving accountability, fiscal responsibility, and effective public service. Good government should continually evaluate what works, what doesn't, and here improvements are needed.
That is the work I want to do in Legislative Hall.

I want to bring the realities I see every day into the legislative process. Policy should be grounded in objective evidence, practical experience, and thoughtful analysis, not one-size-fits-all solutions or political rhetoric. Every community has unique needs, and effective laws should recognize those differences while maintaining consistent standards and accountability.
I also want to help restore respectful dialogue in government. We may not always agree, but we can listen, learn, and work together with civility. Delaware moves forward when we focus on solving problems instead of scoring political points.
I have also lived through my own experiences with mental health. Combined with my clinical training and years of working alongside healthcare professionals, law enforcement officers, first responders, educators, and community organizations, those experiences have given me a perspective rooted in both compassion and realism. I understand that policy decisions have real consequences for real people.
